Hill House is the transformation of a 1990's brick bungalow in Sydney into a home that exudes comfort and warmth within its bold interior. A celebration of design studio Kaiko Design's love of a 1960’s aesthetic the spectacular result was designed around the needs of the family and how they live.
Taking inspiration from the homes existing features which included repeated apertures and thresholds, the team at Kaiko Design then transformed them into a series of arched forms which add interst and repetition throughout the interior.
This theme was then continued in the careful selection of furniture and decorative items for the home. Our Michelle Chairs were the perfect choice for the dining area, their steel frames playing on the visual language of the arc, adding a sense of sculpture and repetition perfectly attuned to the Hill House interior.
