Warmth and colour - a residence by Studio Quarters

Designed by Studio Quarters and shot by Prue Roscoe, Turramurra House is 4-level townhouse on the leafy lower north shore of Sydney featuring SP01. The interior design spotlights the high-backed Caristo armchair designed by Tim Rundle for SP01, in all-white interiors. Colourful furniture and art pieces pop off the all white space, where a new palette of fresh sage is introduced to the living spaces and a dusty warm mauve grey in the bedrooms and corridor.

“We opted for custom joinery for the additional storage required. Finishing the joinery in the same colour as the walls allowed us the ability to introduce texture and subtle tones creating a sense of calm and clarity to the spaces.

"This created the backdrop for the contemporary furniture and art pieces selected where pops of colour were specifically selected to meet the client’s request for a happy and joyful space,” Studio Quarters, interior designers.

The high back version of the Caristo armchair features the same personality filled design, it’s a modern day reinterpretation of the wingback chair that is just as at home in a Palm Springs pad as a harbourside home. The contoured timber shell and soft upholstery are cradled within a sleek steel frame.
